Tournament Day - Saturday, March 20th Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. BURGE has been the home of the Atlanta Charity Clays since its inception. From 1809 to the present, Burge has been passed down from generation to generation within the same family. In its current role as private club, farm, shooting preserve and entertainment facility, Burge Plantation will once again play host to the Atlanta Charity Clays tournament for its 20th Annual Tournament. Tournament day is the culmination of three days of ACC's special and unique events. With a capacity crowd of 72 four-man teams shooting, the Atlanta Charity Clays tournament is the centerpiece of our longstanding tradition. While the event is run and scored like a professional tournament, it is designed to be friendly for all types of shooters. With safety in mind first and foremost, the ACC Tournament is for anyone who enjoys shooting and the outdoors and creates a fun environment that is great for socializing and networking. Some of our participating shooters are top caliber professionals who are fun to watch, but most are just sportsmen who enjoy wing shooting and sporting clays. Burge has a fabulous course, which is customized for the event to provide a lot of variety and allow participants to easily move from one station to another.
Tournament Day will also have other fun shooting and field events planned:
LowCountry Barbecue will serve a fabulous BBQ lunch with all the trimmings. Refreshments will also be provided throughout the day. All shooters will receive an Atlanta Charity Clays hat and pin signifying support of the 2010 Tournament. |
